Location

The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of town called Katajanokka, close to the Market Square and in a neighbourhood of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil buildings. The city centre sights, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive just a few steps away. The train and bus stations are around 2 km away, while Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 18 km from the hostel.

Facilities

The hostel was built in 1959. Guests are welcomed at the accommodation, which has a total of 135 rooms. The individual storeys can easily be reached via the lift or stairs. Services and facilities at the hotel include a safe, a restaurant, a dining area and a coin-operated laundry. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows travellers to stay connected. Shopping facilities are also available. Those arriving in their own vehicles can leave them in the car park of the establishment.
